Single Family Residential

Most submeters installed in single family homes are used to monitor power used in a separate apartment, an RV parked outside, or a business being conducted in the home. An EZMeter is a simple and cost effective way to measure this type of power usage. The meter is usually mounted on the wall next to a circuit breaker panel and the current transformers are mounted in the panel. Select 120 volts to neutral and 3-wire, single-phase when choosing the meter. 200 amps will almost always be enough. Most meters of this type do not have any type of automatic meter reading and use the enclosure with the clear cover.
